WHAT ARE OUR PAYMENT TERMS?
The person in whose name the booking is made acts on behalf of all other persons named and becomes responsible to us for all payments in respect of the booking. If you are making a payment less than eight weeks prior to departure you must pay the total cost of flights/holidays. If you do not pay as described above, your flights/holidays will automatically will be cancelled.We do not send reminders. We are entitled to cancel your flights/holidays for no-payment as specified. Should we have to cancel your flights/holidays because you have
failed to pay, you will be liable to pay us cancellation charges.
AIRPORT CHARGES AND DEPARTURE TAXES
Action by UK Overseas Governments and other authorities including mandatory increases of new charges are not covered by the Companys price guarantee. UK Air Passenger Duty together with Airports and Departure Taxes as noted on the appropriate pages of the relevant brochure will be charged separately to the fares as per the invoice.
If after booking you wish to change your travel arrangements, we will do our utmost to meet these new instructions as long as they are received by us in writing and accompanied by an amendment fee. Please enquire for more details from your consultant. Alterations cannot be made to passenger names and if your obligation to book under the correct names as they appear in the relevant passport. Name changes will be treated as cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation charges set out below. Please note that some travel arrangements can not be changed after a reservation has been made and any alteration will incur a 100% cancellation charge. All fares are subject to change , sometimes without advance notice;
it is therefore in your own interest to finalise payments as soon as possible as fares can only be guaranteed id full payment has been received.
CANCELLATION BY THE PASSENGER
You may cancel your booking at any time as long as it is communicated to us in writing. As this incurs administration costs, we will retain your deposit (deposits are non-refundable) and additional cancellation charges may apply. Cancellation charges on airline tickets are dependent on the airline, the fares and when the cancellation takes place, varying from 25% to 100% ; please check at the time of booking. It should be noted that the majority of discounted airline tickets carry 100% cancellation charges. If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of an insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim those charges.
In the event of the Company making a request on your behalf, e.g. meals, seats, room request etc., we will communicate that request to those responsible. A request cannot be guaranteed and therefore we cannot be held responsible if your request is not fulfiled.
RECONFIRMATION OF FLIGHTS/CHECK IN
You are required to check in 3 hours prior to departure on long haul flights and 2 hours prior to departure on short haul flights. Recomfirmation of onward/return flights must be made with the airline or holiday representative at least 72 hours prior to departure.
We will endeavour to send out travel documents 14 days prior to departure by 1st class post at clientÕs own risk. Special recorded or registered post can be arranged at an additional charge. If tickets are lost in the post and a new set of tickets has to be reissued you may have to pay to reissue the tickets again. A form of indemnity will have to be filled in to claim your monies which can take 6 months. The form of indemnity is subject to an administration charge of £75.00 per person.
CREDIT CARD CHARGES
Bookings where payment is made by credit card are liable to the following charges: 2% on Mastercard and Visa. 3.5% American Express.
FLIGHT PROGRAMME CHANGES
All prices, dates, times, routes and choice of airline are subject to alteration or cancellation. Should Skies The Limit Ltd t/a STL Holidays find it necessary to effect any such alterations or cancellations, they will use their best endeavour to provide other suitable alternatives. All arrangements for transportation are made by Skies The Limit Ltd t/a STL Holidays upon the express understanding that it acts as a booking agent only. Any claim for damage, injury, death, loss or delay in connection or inconvenience suffered by any passenger or his property howsoever arising shall be made directly against the carrier or other responsible person, firm or company concerned. The liability of Skies The Limit Ltd t/a STL Holidays shall cease in any event if Skies The Limit Ltd t/a STL Holidays has exercised due diligence in acting as booking agent. Skies The Limit Ltd t/a STL Holidays will not be bound by any statement or representation unless it be in writing signed by a duly authorised official of their office staff and save as a foresaid, no representative, employee or agent of Skies The Limit Ltd t/a STL Holidays is authorised to commit them to pay any liability or make any representation on their behalf. Refunds will not be paid in the event of cancellations or changes made by us caused by circumstances amounting to Force Majeure including amongst others: wars, riots, civil strife, terrorism, industrial disputes and strikes, natural and other disasters, fire, technical problems with transport, adverse weather conditions, closures or congestion of airports and other events beyond our control.
VALIDITY OF TICKETS, FLIGHT TIMINGS AND SCHEDULED CARRIERS
Return tickets are valid for the dates and routing specified theron. No refunds will be made in respect of unused tickets other than as provided for herein. Flight timings and schedules are subject to changes at the insistence of National Aviation Authorities or the carriers for operational or other reasons. Neither the Company nor the carrier will accept liability for flight cancellations, delays or diversions outside the Companys or carriers control. Timings in itineries or elsewhere are not guaranteed and do not form part of the contract.All carriers may substitute alternative aircraft and carriers, include or omit stops and neither the Company nor the Carrier accepts responsibility for making connections and/or delays.
It is your responsibility to have valid travel documentation. You will be liable for any fines together with any related expenses imposed on Skies The Limit Ltd t/a STL Holidays or the Carriers as a result or your own improper or incorrect documentation.
PASSPORT, VISA, HEALTH REQUIREMENTS AND DRIVING LICENSE
A full ten year passpport is required for visits to all destinations. Check the validity of your passport and any visa requirements with the appropriate consulates. Also, if appropriate: please check that you have a full driving license and are eligible to drive in the country concerned. For non-EEC destinations an International Driving License may be required. Ensure that you meet all immunisation and medical requirements. Some countries may require vaccination certificates for entry.
